Lois's Story

Lois… like Lois Lane, but with more squeaky toys and fewer superhero chase scenes. I’m not out to save the world, I’m just looking for a safe, quiet place to land. Life can feel big and overwhelming sometimes, and what I need most is a calm, understanding home where I can take things slow. I’m not the kind of girl to rush into new things, but with a little patience and a lot of love, I start to feel safe and once I feel safe, I start to shine.Toys bring me comfort. I collect them, carry them, and play with them like they’re little treasures. Being around other dogs helps too. Their friendly energy gives me confidence, and I start to come out of my shell when I have a playful buddy by my side, so a home with another dog is exactly what I'm looking for. I’d do best in a home with kids over 6, gentle, kind-hearted kids who understand that building trust takes time. I don’t have a known history with cats, so to keep things peacefuller's make sure any cats are very experienced with big dogs..I’m smart and sensitive, and I’d really benefit from confidence-building training. With soft voices, kind words, and a few tasty treats, I’m ready to learn and grow. Every small step I take forward is a quiet little victory, and each one brings me closer to the happy, secure life I deserve.I may not leap tall buildings or wear a cape, but I have the heart of a true companion. With patience, love, and a little courage, I’ll become the loyal sidekick you didn’t even know you were waiting for.

I am 1 1/2 years old and weigh 51 pounds. My adoption fee is $240, it includes registration of my microchip, a sample of my food, new leash/collar and toy & treat packet. I am neutered and vaccinated.
