LODDY's Story

Meet Loddy!
(Previously known as Loading)

Loddy’s journey began in Thailand with the incredible team at Soi Dog Foundation, where she was given a second chance at life.

She arrived at their hospital on Christmas Day 2024 in heartbreaking condition—most of her hair had fallen out, her body was covered in painful, crusty scabs, and her eyes reflected how much she had endured. She was soon diagnosed with a fungal skin infection, and her road to recovery began.

With weeks of dedicated care, medicated baths, and gentle support from the veterinary team, Loddy slowly began to heal. Her skin recovered, her fur grew back soft and healthy, and that once-sad expression turned into a bright, hopeful sparkle. Her resilience through it all has been nothing short of inspiring.

Today, Loddy is a completely different dog. She is healthy, with normal bloodwork, and her personality shines just as much as her coat. She is confident, friendly, and loves greeting new people. Loddy gets along well with other dogs and enjoys calmly exploring her surroundings—whether she’s out on a walk or rolling happily in the grass during off-leash time. She tends to be gentle and slightly passive when other dogs approach her, making her a great candidate for a balanced canine companion.

Now in the United States, Loddy is officially part of the Lucky Dog family and has quickly become a volunteer favorite. While she’s doing well in the shelter, what she truly needs is a home of her own—a place where she can settle in, feel safe, and continue to thrive.

Loddy is dog-friendly and may also do well in a home with a cat. Most of all, she is ready to give her whole heart to a family who will love her as much as she deserves.

If you’re ready to meet this incredible survivor, please apply today at luckydogrefuge.com. Once your application is received, we’ll reach out to schedule a meet and greet.

Petfinder inquiries will not be see or responded to.
