Meet Lizzy, a sweet and silly girl looking for a home to call her own. She is a five year old mixed breed girl weighing about 50 pounds. Lizzy is quite shy around new people but given some time and patience, you will earn her trust in no time. Once Lizzy gets comfortable around new people she is the most loyal little shadow around. She needs a home that understands her fearfulness and will give her the time and patience she needs to adjust to pet life. Though her first impressions show her as a quiet and timid girl, she has a wild side and absolutely loves to play. Lizzy enjoys going on walks, playing in water, chasing balls, and most of all playing tug! She is simply a joy to around weather enjoying the outdoors or taking a nice nap inside. Lizzy is very personable and loves to get all the pets and attention she can. She also enjoys learning and has been taught some commands that she enjoys practicing. Fast Friends Greyhound Adoption Center's Adoption Policy

Once we review your completed application, we will contact you to for a phone interview. The interview gives us an opportunity to fully explain the nature of sighthounds and get to know you and what you're looking for in a companion. Then, Fast Friends will help you choose the dog who is the best fit for your household and lifestyle. We have approximately 40 greyhounds and other dogs available at any time, both boys and girls. Once you have selected a dog to join your family, a representative from Fast Friends will come out to your home and go over training solutions for helping your dog become fully house-trained, learn to navigate stairs, and more.
