Lizzie-I26017's Story

Meet Lizzie-a Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a DOB of 5.9.17. Her coat color is red/white. She is spayed vaccinated and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $350.00 + MN State Sales tax.

If you are serious about this dog, please go to our website and fill out an application: https://faerielandrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
We do not adopt our dogs to folks who live in apartments.

From the Foster: This sweet girl has been an absolute joy to have in our home. She’s gentle, affectionate, and happiest when she’s close to her people. Despite being an older dog, she still has a playful spark and loves a good game of fetch with her favorite ball.

She adjusted quickly to our routine. After a couple of early accidents, she learned the rules right away and hasn’t had any issues since. She listens beautifully, comes when called, and stays close when we’re outside together. She’s also wonderful on a leash and makes walks easy and enjoyable.

She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but it only takes a few minutes before she warms up and is ready to play. At night, she sleeps soundly either in her kennel or curled up with our daughter.

It’s honestly hard to find any faults with her. She’s a loving, loyal companion who would make a wonderful addition to any family.

As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed and been approved.

We do not allow our dogs to be tied, tethered, chained or secured on a tie out for any of our dogs. We do not allow our rescue dogs to go into homes with an underground electronic fence system. We don’t adopt our dogs to folks who plan to have the dogs living outside 24/7 or the majority of time or living in a kennel type environment.

FaerieLand Rescue's Adoption Policy
FaerieLand process is the following: You can view our pets on Petfinder or the website. We require an application with a paid $25.00 application processing fee, with 2 personal & 1 vet reference along with a home visit prior to doing an adoption. Most of our dogs do better in a fenced area vs running loose. We match our rescues with current families according to current family members (IE: adults, children, teens), current pets(IE other dogs, other animals) and location, experience, level of activity, personality of the dog, temperament of the dog and want each dog to find their Furever home. Applying for a dog does not entitle you to adopt one of our dogs. German Shepherds & Welsh Corgis are herding dogs and need a job. They are not good dogs for apartments or small spaces. They require exercise every day. They require training and socialization to become a well rounded family member.
