Little Luna's Story

Meet Luna !

Luna is a beautiful, sweet and affectionate girl who has come a long way since arriving in foster care. When she first arrived, she was terrified and very skittish, and it took her some extra time to feel comfortable - especially around the man in her foster home. But once Luna is given the time and space to trust you, her beautiful personality shines through.

She is a happy, energetic girl who loves being around her people, going for nature walks, and soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Once she opens up, she absolutely adores pets, belly rubs, and head scratches. She loves to have fun, she listens well, and she knows "sit" and is currently learning "paw."

Luna is house trained and crate trained. She currently lives with a cat and is cat-friendly. She has not yet been tested with children, or bigger dogs but because she can be cautious when meeting new people, we feel she would do best with older, dog-savvy children who understand the importance of giving a dog time to feel comfortable.

Luna does experience some separation anxiety and will howl when left alone. Her ideal adopter will either be home frequently or be willing to patiently continue working with her on separation-anxiety training. At night, Luna is happiest sleeping in her own bed in the same room as her humans.

Her foster family feels Luna would thrive in a home with a secure backyard, a cozy couch, and someone who enjoys getting outside for walks and adventures. Including her in your world, would be everything to her. Most importantly, she needs someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace.

Give Luna the time to trust you, and she will give you so much in return. Once she knows she is safe and loved, she is a wonderful, affectionate, happy girl who simply wants to enjoy life alongside her people.

Luna is ready to find the family who will show her that she is finally home.

Location: Etobicoke, ON

Age: 3YRS

Weight: 22LBS
Please visit our website www.fullcirclerescue.ca to learn more about this amazing pet and to see our other available dogs.
