Little Bear's Story
Little Bear: Finding Her Courage
Little Bear has come a long way since arriving in foster care, and it's time for an updated profile.

The shy girl who once hung back and watched the world from a distance has blossomed into a confident, social companion. She has discovered that people are pretty wonderful and now happily soaks up attention wherever she goes. At adoption events, she's become quite the fan favourite, greeting visitors and enjoying all the affection that comes her way.

Little Bear has also started to embrace her playful side, especially when puppies are involved. She loves having canine friends to romp around with. While she can occasionally be a bit grouchy when first meeting unfamiliar dogs, she does well with the dogs in her foster home.

She has also met a cat at an adoption event and was respectful, though when shes outside, all bets are off, she loves to chase cats, squirrels and deer.

Most of the time, Little Bear is a laid-back girl who enjoys taking life at her own pace. Her personality can best be described as confident, a little bossy, and just the right amount of stubborn. She knows what she likes, but she redirects well when needed and is making great progress with her training. She has been attending group classes with Carmens dog training to learn some basic obedience and life skills.

Little Bear prefers to do her business on walks rather than in the yard, so regular strolls are part of her ideal routine. Car rides are still a work in progress, as she tends to drool and get sick, but she is improving!

Little Bear may have started her journey as a timid woodland cub, but she's growing into a confident little bear who's ready to find a family of her very own.

Born: March 20th, 2023
Breed: Malamute Mix
Gender: Female
Size: Medium
Activity Level: Medium
Cats: Has done good with meeting some at Pet Valu, does not currently live wity any
Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes
Adoption Fee: $345

If you are interested in meeting Little Bear, applications can be found here:

http://mgpr.weebly.com/dog-adoption-application.html

Thank you to Sunny S-H Photography for the beautiful photos of Little Bear
