Link's Story
Link is a small, affectionate dog with a slightly nervous personality who forms close bonds with his people. He is sweet, cuddly, and happiest when he's nearby—whether that's curled up on a soft blanket, sitting in your lap chewing a toy, or sleeping under your desk while you work. He enjoys walks, though he can be nervous about the leash, especially if it touches his back. He is generally obedient and eager to please, especially when treats are involved. He is food-motivated but can also be a bit picky with his meals and sometimes needs encouragement or a topper to help him eat. He loves people food much more than dog food. And especially loves popcorn.

He likes to be included on car rides but seems nervous sometimes about the car. Does not like boxes, bags, or things out of place. Link currently lives with another dog and enjoys the companionship, often following them around and settling in close. He would love a home with another friendly dog to cuddle and play with—he especially enjoys wrestling—but he could also do well as an only dog in an attentive home. He does need interaction and attention. He likes cats. He would do best with older, respectful children, as younger children can make him anxious with their roughness.

Link would do well with routine, cozy nap spots, and some freedom in the home. He is not crate trained, is used to having a doggie door, and has been comfortable both with people working from home and being left alone for periods of time. He has the cutest snorts, especially when he's hoping to share whatever food you have. Link is a sweet and quirky little guy.
