Lindy's Story

Lindy has been in a foster home for almost two years now, and she is so ready to settle in to a home of her own! She has spent time in a different, temporary foster home while her regular foster traveled, so we know she can make the transition to an adoptive home.

When we rescued Lindy in October of 2023, she was very pregnant and very scared and shut down. She's still timid but has blossomed! All of Lindy's puppies have been adopted and it is her turn. Lindy's young, maybe 4 years old, and about 80 pounds or so. Her puppies' DNA tests say Doberman/Great Dane, and we don't know what part of that is from Lindy.

Lindy needs a home with a fenced yard, kind, patient people, and at least one friendly, playful dog.

Final Frontier Rescue Project's Adoption Policy
Our goal is to make good matches of dogs, people, and home environments. Our application and screening process may feel onerous, but we want lifetime matches, and if it does not work out, we take our dogs back, so we do our best to prevent that! We are all volunteers and we will respond to your inquiry or application as soon as we can, usually within 1-2 days. If none of our dogs is a good fit, we encourage responsible adopters to visit their local shelter to foster or adopt.
