!!! LOOKING FOR A FUREVER HOME !!!

From his foster mom: "MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: NOT FALLING HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE WITH THESE BABY BLUES ?!!! Meet my extreeeeeemely sweet and affectionate foster baby Lincoln, or as i call him - Linkie, Linkarooni, Linguini ?. This darling of a pup arrived into the rescue after being seized from a hoarding situation along with what were presumably his litter mates and some adult Huskies. He was clearly the most shut down of them all, so of course the awesome folks at C4P said YES lets take him! ?. I initially had to follow all the timid dog protocol - don't approach him (he will come to you when ready), no eye contact, keep a leash on at home for quick handling, toss treats over to him and generally give him space. Sure enough, with time and patience what unfolded what this angel diamond of a dog who is goofy, playful, SO DARN affectionate and literally the life of the party at home! Our home has 6 other dogs and just this one hooman, and it's very obvious how much Lincoln looks to his dog pals for comfort, joy, companionship and fun times while my role is the feeder, walker and cuddler lol. He has the BEST smile, and when Lincoln is happy, everyone around him is instantly uplifted because seeing him thrive is the best feeling on this planet! Linkie boy is housetrained, crate trained, sleeps through the night and is so quiet in the home. His favourite daytime hobby is entertaining himself with his toys or chewies, starting out the living room window or wrestling with his foster siblings LOL. His inner puppy is unleashed when he's outdoors running and playing with his dog pals, and he is a friend to LITERALLY EVERY DOG HE MEETS! He hasn't met cats yet, but I think he'll be just fine because of his gentle and sweet nature, but guaranteed he will want to play with the cat LOL. He does take cues and warnings from other dogs really well though, so he can be taught to leave a furry friend at home alone if preferred. He walks well on leash but occasionally his sled dog DNA kicks in and he wants to tug and pull but takes leash corrections very well, and recalls extremely well for treats and praise. I tell ya, he's just SUCH a good boy but he needs atleast a few days to a week to decompress in a new environment and around new people. He is very shy when meeting people for the first time, and is startled by quick movements or too many hoomans around - but at the same time is so confident to approach new dogs for the first time. For this reason, and to continue building his confidence and trust with humans, he definitely needs an adult only (or older kids) quieter home with a well adjusted dog pal or pals at for guidance, companionship and playtime! He has been attending doggy daycare for a few weeks now and has the time of his life there ?He would be a star at dog parks too! Oh, and BOY would he make an amazing running buddy for those looking for a canine companion to join in their adventures! All he needs is for someone to take a chance on him, and I promise you will receive all of him once he starts to feel safe and trust ?"

Lincoln has been health checked, and up to date on all vaccinations and is more than ever ready to find his furever home! Thanks to his AMAZING foster family, he had the softest landing and has learned a lot of skills and basic training and how it feels to be a cherished member of a family. He's ready to steal your heart and home. Who's looking for a little Linkie in their life? ?
