Lily's Story

Lily’s a 5mo 5lb Doxie/Chi/Yorkie mix. She’s dog and kid friendly. She’s working on being housetrained, pee pad and crate trained. She’ll be good in a secure fenced in yard once trained but will need a leash in the yard since is still an escape artist and needs work on harness leashed walks. She loves to play with toys and other dogs. She’s playful, sweet and smart.

Lily’s foster requires a home where someone is home often, so not to be left for long periods of time, another young playful dog along with people to give leadership, consistency, structure and to continue working on training. If your home DOES NOT meet these requirement’s please DO NOT put an application in. We will not call anyone whose home does not meet the needed requirements. Also, we will be concentrating on local to foster applications 1st since home checks and meets with all humans and animals in home is needed at meet. Our fosters are all volunteers so aren’t always able to travel too far.

Lily as all dogs should have at least 2 weeks in their new home with just their people who live in the home and to not have people over for at least 2 weeks. Dogs need time to settle in and adjust to their new people and environment first so they can learn to trust them first.

Lily’s vaccinated and will need to be spayed and microchipped at 6mons. Currently in Doylestown, PA. If your home meets the needed requirements and you’re interested in applying to adopt please do so at www.tprescue.org
