Lilo's Story

Meet Lilo!

Lilo is exceptionally smart, learning new skills and tricks in record time! She is driven mostly by her love for her friends and always asks for lots of cuddles from her people. She gives the sweetest hugs, chin kisses, and loves to rest her head in your lap. She takes treats very gently and is always ready to go on a new adventure with her besties. By far, her favorite game is tug of war, and she will happily bring a rope toy to show you she's in the mood to play.

Weight: 73 lbs

Spayed/Neutered: Yes!

Up to date on vaccines: Yes!

Microchipped: Yes!

Housebroken: Unknown since she's never had a foster! Will likely need some training.

Crate-trained: Unknown!

Leash behavior: Working on it! They are still learning what the leash is all about and may have some behaviors that will require continued positive reinforcement training.

Dog sociability: No thanks!

Cat sociability: They do not do well with cats! They will likely chase, bite, attack, or otherwise harm or frighten cats.

Kid sociability: No thanks!

Likes: Cuddling with her besties, kisses, hugs, and TUG O' WAR!

Dislikes: people who hug without asking, not being pet when her friends are near.

Lilo is a little scared of unfamiliar people, and does best when she has time and space to bring new people into her circle of friends. If you would like to become Lilo's buddy, we will do a couple intros so she can get comfy with you!

If you'd like to meet Lilo, please fill out an adoption application at animalcareleague.org/adoptions and send us an email at adoption@animalcareleague.org!
