Description:
Lilly is such a sweet, wonderful dog! After living 8 years on a concrete kennel floor at a huge hunting plantation, she loves being a family pet. She enjoys getting kisses on her forehead and being petted. She's happy to nap in a quiet, out of the way corner if you're busy working or join you for snuggles when you're relaxing. We've only seen this once, but I'm glad my husband also witnessed it. Lilly sat up from a nap, yawned, then both ears raised up and out horizontally from her head for a few seconds (like Dumbo preparing for flight.) I've never seen a dog do this before!

She's a smart girl who adapts and learns quickly. The only negative issue is occasionally picking up a sock or object to chew on. She enjoys exploring or sunning in the backyard, then barks at the door when ready to come back in. She does really well going on 20-30 minute walks with us. She's very calm and laid back but frolics and runs in the back yard some. Lilly will be a special addition to someone's family!
