Lilie's Story

AN INQUIRY FROM PETFINDER IS NOT AN APPLICATION! READ THE ENTIRE POST FOR INFORMATION HOW TO APPLY.

Meet Lillie! Lillie is a 10-ish year old female bichon and she weighs about 10 pounds. Lillie arrived in rescue after being surrendered to a shelter and being very scared. She was also heartworm positive, but has been treated and is doing great! She has settled into foster care and is starting to thrive and is ready for a forever home. Her foster mom says: Lillie is a great little dog - very sweet, serene, calm, and affectionate. As a mature gal, she is not interested in toys or playing but prefers to snuggle close to you. She is not comfortable on a leash (we are working on it), but she enjoys exploring the fenced yard. Her new family will need to continue training with positive reinforcement and a harness. She appears to be house broken on a schedule but will use piddle pads inside. She rarely barks but when she does, it's very soft and only when she's trying to get your attention. She is crate trained but crating is not necessary, as she is not destructive. She ignores the cats, so a feline friendly household won't bother her. I believe Lillie would do best in a quiet, fenced yard home without young children where she can enjoy her golden years. However, no frail adults, as her small size may cause a fall. She is looking for someone to love and be loved in return. She will be the perfect addition to her forever home. Could you be the lucky one?

Lillie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm medication microchipped and has had her teeth cleaned.

Lillie is fostered in the Flagler Beach area and her adoption donation is $275. If you are interested in applying to adopt Lillie, please visit www.floridalittledogrescue.com to read the adoption process and complete an application! Please note that emails simply asking "Is this dog available" will not be returned, as applications are worked in the order received and availability largely depends on when you apply:) Please also know we do not adopt out of state! Thank you!
