Meet lovebug Lilah! This one-year-old lab mix is 44 pounds of pure love and affection. Her signature move is the hug - she’ll step back on her hind legs and wrap her front two paws over your shoulders to say hello! She is crate trained and house-broken. After a few minutes of excited pulls in the leash, she also settles in nicely for a walk next to you, unless she spots a squirrel! She is medium-high energy and would benefit from a doggie brother or sister to play with, but a nice walk and daily trip to a dog park or backyard will also allow her to expel some of her energy! She is food motivated and has picked up “sit” in a matter of minutes and is working on “paw.”

All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
