Liberty is an approximately 8 month old German shepherd mix. Her right front leg was amputated due to an poorly healed elbow fracture that happened when she was a puppy. Liberty is currently enrolled in a training class and is doing great! She knows basic commands and is eager to learn more.
Liberty's ideal home is an active person or couple who helps Liberty understand her physical limitations-she wants to run until she drops! However, once she is tired, she loves to lounge and snuggle.
Liberty is eager to make friends with other canine friends, but is learning proper dog friend etiquette. At this point Libby would do best as an only pet or with a mellow adult dog, who does not mind a large puppy minded dog with lots of energy. Liberty is spayed, has had an exam with a veterinarian, is fecal tested, vaccinated for Rabies and Da2P, and is microchipped.
