Meet Libby
Libby has graduated from the Givens Hall PAWS Dog Training Program and is available for adoption!
Libby did really well with her training and trainers while "in prison!" She will do best with an active family - she LOVES to play! She would love to have a dog buddy (she gets along with all dog sizes) and a fenced-in yard to play in. She loves cats so a kitty would be a bonus for her.
Libby is a fun-loving gal that will thrive in a home where she can receive lots of love, attention and exercise! She does well in a crate as long as she has her bone with her.
Her previous less than desirable (jumping, chewing) behaviors were worked on while in training and she did beautifully. She will continue to become the perfect canine companion if her current skills and training are consistently reinforced.
8/17 UPDATE from volunteer Jada:
Libby got pretty excited when I entered her kennel and can be a bit jumpy but she calms down and can be easily redirected but asking for a sit. She is a good mix of independant and affectionate. She enjoys pets and attention but doesn't need to be constantly entertained. Libby also really enjoys toys and playing fetch. It is pretty cute watching her pounce around the yard after toys with her fluffy tail bouncing along with her. She is a sweet girl and would fit in easily with a family!
