Lexie Portuguese Water Dog & Standard Poodle Mix Rochester, NY

Lexie is a very active 4-year-old Portuguese Water Dog and poodle mix (sometimes referred to as a portipoo). She spent 4 years of her life in a puppy mill before being rescued by North Paw. She is LOVING a life of freedom! She would love to find a very active family to call her own. She would also love to have a home with a resident dog that she can continue learning the ropes on life as a dog in a home. Lexie doesn't do well in a crate, but is non-destructive when left out while her foster family leaves the house. No cats in Lexie's forever home, because she likes to chase them. If you have an active family that likes to walk or hike and another dog that she can play with, Lexie would be the perfect match for your family!

Lexie's adoption fee is $400, which includes: her alter, a microchip with a lifetime subscription, her rabies, and DAPP vaccines, flea/heartworm preventative, and a deworming treatment while in foster care.
