MEET LEWEY!<br/><br/>Lewey is a 6 month old neutered mastiff mix. He is big boy at already 60lbs and still growing! This doe eyed pup has been spending the past few weeks in foster so we can learn a bit more about him. We have found Lewey to be a quick learner, and he is mostly housebroken! He walks well on an EZ harness, loves to cuddle on the couch with his human and dog friends, loves a good brain game or food puzzle, and meeting new canine friends. Lewey would do best in a home with another confident dog friend to play with, and help show him that the world isn’t so scary. He would also do fine in a home with cats! Like most young dogs, Lewey still needs some work on his manners, as he can sometimes get a bit rowdy and needs to be reminded to behave like a gentleman. He is very food motivated and easy to redirect into more appropriate behavior. Lewey can also be a bit shy when meeting new people, and may bark to show he is uneasy. While he is easily won over with treats, he will need a dedicated owner that will continue to work with him, and advocate for him when new situations or people make him uneasy. Setting up a plan with a positive based trainer will help Lewey succeed in becoming the best dog he can be!<br/><br/>Interested in meeting this stud muffin?
