Lettie's Story

Lettie is part of a group of dogs we took in from an overwhelmed owner. The city shelter is bringing dogs in groups from a home with 50+, where the owner passed away.

We brought Lettie in to give her a second chance and clear way for more dogs in need. These dogs are getting to experience many firsts- from more human touch, being clean, going on walks in the world, etc.

Lettie! is decompressing in foster and proving to be the best girl!

Lettie is such a sweetheart. She’s a big cuddle bug and mostly just wants to curl up next to her people. She gets the most excited to rub her head into your chest, beat out only by mealtime. She is fully potty trained and loves to be outside. She’s also very dog friendly, and not nervous around new noises/environments. Generally, she’s a really easy dog that’s ready for a life of leisure in her forever home.

~3 yo, poodle mix.

News story: https://www.kxan.com/news/austin-dog-rescue-says-they-need-homes-for-at-least-50-dogs/

Inquire for Lettie at rescueatxdogs.org/adoptionapp
