Meet Lessie - Gentle, Shy, and Ready for a Second Chance<br/><br/>Lessie was abandoned and tied to the fence at our shelter in Mexico. Despite everything she has been through, she is gentle with other dogs and loves their company.<br/><br/>We have been working with Lessie and our dog trainer. She is starting to have confidence and is absolutely wonderful on the leash. The shelter is loud and overwhelming for her. She is a bit nervous girl at first. She needs a patient, experienced person to help her feel safe again.<br/><br/>Her ideal home:<br/>-Quiet, calm, and predictable<br/>-No young kids (Teens or adults only)<br/>-A big yard, ranch, or someone who enjoys hiking trails<br/>-A home with another friendly dog would be a bonus<br/>-Potty Trained and Leash Trained. <br/><br/>Lessie has so much potential. We use Petfinder to reach a greater audience for our dogs and adopt the majority of our dogs to the US and Canada.
