Leonard is a 1 year, 4 months old male Labrador Retriever/Mix who weighs 73 pounds.<br/><br/>Meet Leonard, a 1.5 year old Labrador Retriever with a big, silly heart and an even bigger zest for life. This happy, energetic guy has already had three homes, and we are committed to finding him the right match where he can finally settle in for good.<br/><br/>Leonard is full of playful, people loving energy and thrives with activity. He would do best with adopters who enjoy getting outside a bunch, staying active, and engaging their dog both physically and mentally. He loves other dogs and would be happiest with a canine companion who can match his rough and tumble play style. Leonard's new family should have a yard and access to plenty of walks, run, and play.<br/><br/>Leonard is a strong, busy boy who is still learning his manners. He enjoys kids, but his enthusiasm and determined need to interact has caused him to knock over kids, so a home with older teens or just adults would be the best fit.<br/><br/>He is currently on medication to help manage his hyperactivity and is doing well with structure and routine. Leonard is eager to please and ready to build a bond with someone who understands his energy and can guide him, and appreciate him for who he is.<br/><br/>If you are looking for a fun, VERY ACTIVE, and loyal companion, Leonard may be your guy.<br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting Leonard, please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays during our walk in hours of 12-4pm.
