Hi, I am Leo, a 1-year-old Dachshund/Hound mix weighing about 20 pounds. I was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas, and these days I am making up for lost time by soaking up every bit of love and attention I can get. I am a happy little guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. I am being fostered in Adrian, Michigan.<br/><br/>My foster says it is obvious I have lived in a home before because I came in already housebroken and settled into the routine right away. I absolutely adore people and will happily greet you at the door with a wagging tail, ready for scratches, pets, cuddles or whatever attention you are willing to share. I also have one very important obsession: stuffed toys. You will almost always find me carrying one around because every good boy needs a favorite stuffy by his side.<br/><br/>I get along great with other dogs, have been wonderful with everyone I have met, including kids, and my foster says I am just a very good little boy. I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines and preventatives.
