Get a load of Leo, the sweetest hunky Pit Bull you will ever lay eyes on!

This gorgeous hunk of jowly love was found wandering the streets of Houston Texas, skinny and alone. When his rescuer approached him sunning himself in a driveway it was clear by his friendly smile and wiggling tail this boy was special.

Unfortunately the rescue who tagged Leo did not deem him worthy of finding a home as he was just another "plain" older Pit Bull with cropped ears. This rescue dumped Leo in a boarding facility where he was left alone and confused, no hope for the future. When that rescue stopped paying his bills he was slated to be returned to a high kill shelter in Texas but we knew we couldn't let that happen!

We scooped him up and placed him in a foster home to decompress and recover. It was evident from the moment he stepped his sweet little paws in the door that Leo is a unicorn! He loves everyone, all dogs, all humans, and especially human kids!

This smooshy faced boy is around 60lbs and is in his golden years (8+ years). He's low to moderate activity and would prefer short walks, cozy car rides, yummy treats and hanging out in a backyard to long hikes and crazy excursions. He is crate trained, potty trained, fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be arriving to the Pacific Northwest on 5/31.

Leo would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and kids and other friendly dogs to snuggle. He doesn't seem to love apartment living and would prefer wooded trails to crowded city streets and sidewalks.
