Meet Leo -- one of our most overlooked dogs. <br/><br/>Leo, a handsome and young pup, was once E-Listed for being scared and shut down at the county shelter. After being in our care for almost a year, he's fully blossomed into a playful and affectionate dog. <br/><br/>It's almost a no-brainer Leo is a volunteer favorite -- he's playful, incredibly affectionate, walks well on leash and is very obedient being eager to please his handler. <br/><br/>Leo knows basic commands and is very trainable. He is a great walking companion being non-reactive and keeping a steady pact by your side. Leo loves to play with toys and gets the fastest zoomies when he gets excited. <br/><br/>Leo has gone overlooked since he came into our care back in May of 2025. Not a single application and we can't understand why. With his amazing personality, playful spirit and striking good looks, it's a shame this boy hasn't been scooped up by somebody. <br/><br/>Leo would thrive in a home that can keep up with his youthful spirit but will also lay on the couch and cuddle. He'd do best with confident handlers that can provide structure, routine and continued training.
