Lenore is a sweet and spunky girl who is easy to fall in love with! She does amazing during car rides and walks in the park (even with other dogs), and likes to flop over for a good belly rub. Lenore is still learning the difference between playing with people and playing with other dogs, so she may still at times nip to try to begin play or seek attention. She has done excellently so far with some positive reinforcement training techniques that are helping her to learn to put her mouth on toys to achieve these results, and would love if her new family could continue this training to help her enjoy a conflict-free life in the home! Smart, silly, and adorable, Lenore is a triple threat!

We are open to the public on a first come, first serve basis and are limiting our capacity to 50% in order to keep both our staff and community safe during this pandemic. HSP continues to provide an essential service to the community by intaking pets in need and finding adoptive homes. In order to continue operations, we must reduce the potential spread of the virus by taking extra precautions. We ask that all visitors entering HSP facilities wear appropriate face or mask coverings while maintaining at least a 6 foot social distance.
