Meet Lenny in NC - Super Smart & Loves Attention!

Let’s talk about Lenny! Better known by his foster family as "Silly Pupper,” Lenny is a people-pleaser, and a genuine unicorn pup who deserves the best that life has to offer! He's got all the exuberance of a puppy without the chaos; he’s silly and sweet, and laid back, a low-to-medium energy guy. Do you enjoy big-dog hugs?! - If so, Lenny is your guy, as he knows how to use his front paws to reach for a cuddle! Lenny is crate trained and great on a leash - he is constantly watching to show off that he's doing what his humans want him to do. This boy is extremely smart, as his foster mom taught him “sit” within minutes, and watched him wiggle with joy as she told him he was a good boy! He wasn’t house trained when he came into his foster home, but he’s catching on amazingly fast, and will be in no time! Lenny adores all people and craves their attention, whether it’s being pet, getting brushed, or learning new tricks. And of course he loves to play! - be it with other dogs (he is on the submissive side, but isn't fearful), or toys, he just has a joyous spirit!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
