Lenny is *adorable* and *super loving*<br/><br/>He requires an older child/child free home and a securely fenced yard - please read on if you have both of those things and you are looking for an incredibly endearing, cuddly companion who loves to hug!!<br/><br/>Meet Lenny! Lenny is a loving, extremely cuddly pup! He LOVES his people and enjoys walking and seeing new things. He is curious, attentive, and cheerful. He is just a happy, happy dog. His little stub of a tail constantly "wags"<br/><br/>Lenny is smart, handsome, good natured, and sweet. He’s excitable and loves attention. He “jumps for joy” when he sees his person and when you pick up his leash. He loves to stand up on his hind legs and walk, and it’s pretty adorable. When you sit down to relax, Lenny is happy to make his way to your side to cuddle, often nuzzling his head in your neck for the sweetest hugs. He is wonderful with people that he trusts!!<br/><br/>Lenny likes other dogs and does a nice job meeting them. He does not require another dog in his new home - he would be happy to be the center of attention - but he is happy to be part of a dog-pack. He does well with cats, MEOW!!<br/><br/>This wiggle-butt sweet pup is extremely curious. He LOVES to inspect everything, and he is fascinated with new places and new things. Lenny loves to walk, and he is a great hiking buddy. His morning and evening walks are definitely his favorite events of the day. He loves to sniff, and while he does pull a little on his leash, it is only when he is curious. We love that he is well mannered about approaching other dogs. <br/><br/>While Lenny is literally a bundle of delight with most people, he is put off by the unpredictable energy of kiddos. Since that can make him nervous, and because he has nipped at kids before, we are specifically looking for an older child home or no-child with good energy and relaxed, thoughtful, dog savvy owners. <br/><br/>Lenny is house trained and crate trained. His interest in exploration has led to great skill in digging - specifically out of his backyard. He has used a doggy door in the past, but, again, his also *must* have a secure fenced in yard. Lenny will 1000% dig his way under a fence if it can be done! <br/><br/>All in all, Lenny is very smart, he is a good listener, and he wants to please his people. He loves to love, loves to eat, will relax nicely after he has *dogged* for the day, and he is a great cuddler. He will thrive with a family that uses positive reinforcement training, establishes a daily routine, and loves to cuddle. <br/><br/>Lenny is neutered, up-to-date on his shots, on Heartguard monthly, and microchipped. He is in foster in Pittsburgh, patiently waiting to become part of his forever family.
