Lena Miniature Schnauzer Fort Myers, FL

Lena came into rescue from a commercial breeding operation. She has had no real experience being a house pet, but she is learning about the good life quickly!
Lena is extremely shy and hesitant around humans initially but likes other small dogs quite well. She will need someone very calm and patient to help her adjust to life as a house pet. Having another friendly, social dog to help her see how good life can be would be very beneficial.

We estimate her to be about 5 years old and she is overall very healthy.
She has had all of her veterinary needs taken care of including a dental cleaning and she is ready for a loving home of her own.
We prefer adult homes for these under socialized dogs since small children can be too much for them as they adjust. Older, calm children would probably be fine.
We like to adopt to people who have someone home most of the time, have secure areas for the dog to explore - either a large lanai or a fenced yard. The dogs are using pee pads indoors and are able to go out into a fenced area during the day whenever they like. They have not been trained to walk on a leash.
We prefer to adopt within the state of Florida but may consider someone a little farther away if it is a perfect home. The adoption fee is $550. To be considered to adopt her please call Anna 239-841-2382
