Lemon's Story

Meet Lemon!
DOB July 1 2026

While lemons can sometimes be sour, this Lemon is anything but! She is one very sweet, silly, and playful girl who is sure to add a little sunshine to your life.

Lemon loves to play, especially with her rope toys and any plushie she can get her paws on! She’s a smart girl, too. She has mastered the stairs with ease and has already learned how to use the doggie door at her foster home. Her potty training is coming along nicely, and she sleeps like a champ in her kennel from 10 PM to 6 AM with very little fuss. She’s still learning that kennel time is time to settle down, but after a few minutes, she relaxes and settles in just fine.

Lemon absolutely loves people and thinks her foster dog siblings are the best! She is constantly trying to join in on the big-dog fun and will happily play with her furry friends whenever she gets the chance. When playtime is over, she is more than happy to soak up all the love she can get—belly rubs, pets, scratches, and cuddles are always welcome!

And when her foster mom comes home? Lemon is over the moon! She gets SO excited to see her and makes sure everyone knows just how happy she is that her favorite person is back.

This sweet girl is smart, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. Lemon may have a name that sounds tart, but she is one seriously sweet treat!

We're committed to making sure every dog and cat get a great start in their new home.
MAA Adoption fee of $500 includes:
6 weeks pet trial insurance with Petsecure
spay / neuter
tapeworm medication
regular dewormer and other internal/external parasite control as needed (while in care)
parvo distemper vaccine and booster
rabies vaccine & tag

Fence:
Our primary goal is the safety and happiness of our rescue animals.
For many of our dogs, a fenced yard is the safest environment.
