She was surrendered by her owner when they moved to the mainland and chose not to take her along. Despite that heartbreak, Leigha has remained incredibly loving and trusting, and she’s ready to start her next chapter with a family who will never leave her behind.<br/><br/>Leigha truly has it all. She is wonderful with everyone she meets, including people, other dogs, and even cats. Her easygoing, social nature makes her a perfect fit for just about any home. That said, we don't know if she has ever lived with small children, so she will need to be placed in a home with children over 12 years old, or an adult only home.<br/><br/>She is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people, whether that means snuggling on the couch or simply keeping you company around the house. Leigha is also quiet and well mannered in her kennel, making her an easy and respectful family member.<br/><br/>Leigha is housetrained and enjoys getting out for walks, where she can explore and take in the world around her.
