She is a sweet but girl but she does not trust easily. She will take time and patience to come around.<br/><br/>Please note - if you want to skip the text and go straight to the application, you can find the link here: www.carolinapoodlerescue.org/application/<br/><br/>Must have: Another dog, a family with rescue dog experience, fenced in yard, time and patience a family that is home more often than not.<br/>Exercise: Layla is very playful and loves to run around and play with other dogs.<br/>Best with: Other dogs, gentle slow approach from the side, calm quiet environment<br/>Not ideal for: Families with children, first time dog owners, families with other nervous or skittish dogs.<br/>Energy level: High once she breaks the ice.<br/><br/>We want to be honest. Layla may always be a nervous dog. She's got a sensitive stomach we are still figuring out, and she has a long road until she is a "normal" dog. And she maybe never be the idea of a "normal house pet." But she is sweet and she is trying. She needs a family with another dog and experience with dogs like her.<br/><br/>Good with dogs: Yes, a must in her life.<br/>Good with kids: We would not recommend Layla to a family with children.<br/>Cats: Layla has never lived with cats. If you have them, let us know and we can test her.<br/>Fun fact: Layla came into our rescue with a golden retriever friend that she LOVED! So, she loves goldens!<br/>Potential Adopters<br/><br/>Dogs can’t drive - and since we’re busy taking care of them, we can’t either!
