It was clear she hadn't known much kindness... and yet, she remained gentle and trusting.
After receiving the initial care she needed, Lavender came to BHNW and into a loving foster home - where she has truly blossomed.
Lavender is gentle, loving, and deeply devoted. If there's one word to describe her, it's GRATEFUL. She seems to know she's been given a second chance and meets it with quiet, loyal love. After spending too much of her early life alone, she now wants nothing more than to stay close to her person.
She has a playful side and loves to chase and "fetch"... minus the return. She enjoys walks and does well on leash. At home, she's easygoing, no shoe chewing here, though she may shred cardboard if she has extra energy. A little exercise keeps her happy and balanced.
Lavender does best on a consistent potty schedule and prefers a little company when she goes outside. She loves car rides (as close to you as possible!) and will happily curl up beside you at the end of the day.
She's great with kids, though her excited wiggles can be a bit bouncy, so a home with children 10+ would be best. With her energy, she'd thrive in a home with a fenced yard to run and play.
Lavender's perfect home is a calm, loving one where she can be near her person, helping in the yard, supervising in the kitchen, or snuggled up for movie night (just keep the volume down - she's not a fan of loud noises!).
Lavender is ready for her once-and-for-all home.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will love deeply and stay by your side... Lavender is your girl.
