Weight: 58lbs Estimated age ~4 years old Meet Lavender-- Lavender came to us from a partner shelter where she was brought in as a stray with another dog. She is a giant floof who is super personable. During her behavioral evaluation, it was noted that she was very interactive with people, and also very into her toys and other high value objects, so an adult only home or one with older children would likely be best. Lavender has also gotten along well with other dogs, so a new canine sibling might suit her. She has been recently groomed and is ready to hit the town! We are still getting to know her, but we do know that she would love for you to come and visit her! If you'd like to meet her, feel free to call our adoptions desk or stop by during Browsing Hours: Tue-Sun 11-5.

We cannot expedite the process if you call and email to follow up. * Dogs can have meet-and-greets and dog-to-dog meetings, however, we are unable to do so with cats. Kittens and puppies are not eligible for the 7-day foster-to-adopt trial periods, but adult cats and dogs are. You must be at least 21 years old to adopt. - It’s important that any current canine companions enjoy your new friend as much as you do. We facilitate dog-to-dog introductions outside our main shelter, on leash. For your own dog’s safety, we ask that you do not bring him or her into the shelter. If we move forward with your application and you apply for a dog and already have one, you will be asked to bring your current dog to meet your new potential dog to do a meet-and-greet.
