Available for adoption in WA and OR. Fostered in Tacoma area and available for meet and greets with reviewed applications.

Lavender is a cheerful, energetic 1.5 year old dog. She’s a buff girl who weighs in at 50 pounds. Don’t be fooled by her petite stature — this shortie is a firecracker of energy!

Why Lavender is awesome: Lavender is a joy to be around! She’s playful, silly, and cheerful. She is exceptionally well-mannered around all dogs, often adapting her greetings and play style to put other dogs at ease. When this little worker is “off duty,” Lavender enjoys laying in sun rays or by the fireplace. She’s an affectionate girl who will never turn down an invitation to cuddle with her people. She rides well in cars, and has taken several long trips. Lavender likes meeting people and has become an increasingly extroverted dog, as she’s settled into routine at her foster home.

Lavender’s needs: Although her exact breed is a mystery, Lavender has shown herding / working tendencies. Expect to see her constantly nudging things with her nose. Lavender thrives on interaction — she needs people or dogs to play with her. She needs to expend both mental and physical energy several times a day. It’s not as simple as long walks — Lavender needs different types of activities each day — for example, fetch, nose work, interactive toys, and more. For this reason, a fully-fenced yard (6’ or higher) is a must! Lavender is highly intelligent and has opened drawers and cabinets, so she needs a household where everyone is attentive to this fact. While she’s housebroken and knows some basic training, Lavender is still working on recall and not jumping to greet people.

Our adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and transport expenses. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset travel and medical expenses.

All children at home should be at least age 5 to be approved for adoption!
