Meet Laura (special medical needs)
Laura is 9 years old and requires ongoing costly medical care and medications for debilitating arthritis and allergies. She is lucky enough to have the most loving foster mom who, with our help, provides everything that Laura needs to keep her comfortable. Laura was rescued when she was very pregnant and had just been found in Philly with a belt tightly wrapped around her neck affixed to a pole. Sadly, she had been bred repeatedly and our vet believes she was kept in a small crate or enclosed area for an extended period resulting in issues with her legs that have undoubtedly contributed to her current medical situation. She has ongoing issues with UTI's that will require constant work with her medical team.
We are in dire need of medical foster heroes to help dogs like our Laura.
