Larry's Story

Larry is a sweet 1-year-old boy who came to us after his owner was no longer able to care for him. He can be a little timid when he first meets you, but give him a little time and his sweet, affectionate personality begins to shine through. Larry has lived with other dogs and would do well in a home with canine companions to help him feel comfortable and confident. We're still getting to know this adorable guy as he decompresses and opens up, and we can't wait to see more of his personality come out!

Please visit our website to learn more about this amazing pug and begin the adoption process!

Evergreen Pug Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an application submitted by the potential adopter. An adoption coordinator then reviews the application and conducts a phone interview to learn more about the family. If initially approved, we complete a home visit, background check, and reference check. Once fully approved, our adoption and foster coordinators work together to find the best match for the dogs in our care. Finally, a meet-and-greet is scheduled, and if it’s a good fit, the adoption contract is signed — leading to a happily ever after!
