BIG ANNOUNCEMENT....just like Oprah Winfrey's announcement ;-), Large Marge would like to announce her weight loss! She is taking the LARGE out of Marge! She has lost 13 lbs and is at 82 lbs! Great job Marge!!!

Meet Large Marge, a gorgeous hunk of LOVE. We fondly call her Large Marge since she is a solid 95 pounds! She was born 4/16/18, so she is almost 6 years old. Don't let her size fool you, she is full of cuddles and kisses and has NO idea she is 95 pounds! Just look at that smile! She loves everyone she meets, greeting you with her smile and wagging tail. Large marge is a happy girl that loves belly rubs, endless play with her ball (see her video) and the absolute best passenger on car rides. Large Marge knows her basic commands, she is house trained, and crate trained. No intimidation needed when giving this BIG girl a treat, she takes it very gently. She is great in crowds of people when she goes with our volunteers to Cabela's and other populated places. If you are looking for a loyal cuddler, she is for you! Large Marge is in training and doing great with her socialization work with other dogs. Large Marge is like a bull in the CHINA SHOP ;-), she has no idea of her size, so would knock small children down. We recommend an adult home for her or children over 10 years of age. Also, a fenced in yard (not electric) would be GREAT for Large Marge, but not required, so she can have freedom to play. Her previous owners could no longer afford her care due their growing family. Marge is on Apoquel needed for skin allergies and Carprofen for joint issues. A Veterinarian at the Animal Lake Animal Clinic who had been caring for her, reached out to Love-A-Stray to find the perfect new home this beautiful BIG girl deserves. Her medications are $100 per month, however, we do have sponsors that are willing to cover the expenses of her medications for the rest of her beautiful life!!
