I am a Boston Terrier MIX with a tail. I am 5 years old and weigh 20lbs. I need a new home because i need a home with low activity and no young children. I am being fostered in Salt Lake City, UT. <br/><br/>I am a sweet gal and I would love a quiet home. I would do well with older kids that understand I dont like fast movements and loud surprises. <br/><br/>I'm currently being fostered with a 3 year old female Boston terrier. Foster Mom keeps saying you both cant be Alpha, whatever that means. I get along fine with her and share laps with her but I've secretly told her I'm in charge. I think I might do good as a single dog or with a male. I came from an unfenced home so I was always walked on a leash. Right now I have a fenced yard and I do enjoy this freedom. I am even learning to use a dog door. <br/><br/>I am crate trained and will spend time in it if you have to run errands or go get us some ice cream. I like sleeping in my crate or with you on the bed. I also like to hang out on the couch. I love to play with my toys and I'm very food motivated. <br/><br/>Here's a little more about me:<br/>Housetrained? Yes <br/>Leash Trained? Yes<br/>Rides well in car? Yes<br/>Good with other dogs? Yes, but maybe a submissive dog is better so I can be in charge. <br/>Good with cats? Yes<br/>Good with young children? Good with older kids that understand I dont like fast and loud motions. <br/>Good with strangers? Yes<br/>Shy or confident? Usually confident. <br/>Barks? Just when playing or is alerting<br/>Apartment qualified? No<br/>Any Special needs or Health Issues? Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.<br/><br/>MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.<br/><br/>MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.<br/><br/>If you are Interested in Adoption please complete our online adoption application at 'https://www.adoptaboston.com/adoption-application<br/><br/>Petfinder's form is NOT our application.
