This is Lana!

Lana and her sisters, Cordelia and Isla, are about 4-5 months old and they are very special pups. They spent the first 3 months of their lives outside under their owners porch. Luckly, someone called animal control and they were seized. The siblings were taken to an over populated shelter and the shelter called us to help. FHDR transported the pups to NJ to live in foster homes. They are very happy to be in a foster home where they are getting healthy food & treats, soft beds and lots of love. Something they never experienced before. The pups are very shy but so very sweet and they are learning to trust people.

This is what Lana's foster mom says….”Lana is shy but warmed up to us quickly. She loves playing with our dog and she will lay right next to him. Playing with toys is fun for her and she will carry them around. Lana likes to be with her people, she even sleeps in bed with us. When you aren’t giving her attention, she will let you know with a soft whine. This pup is a big time puppy kisser!

Lana needs a home that has the patience to make her feel comfortabale and that can spend time teaching her that she is safe. We are sure if you adopt her, she will be a devoted, loving companion. She just needs the right person to call their own. When you meet Lana, you will fall in love with her!

The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are.

Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be left alone all day.

We do not have a shelter facility you can visit. Our volunteers foster the dogs and pups in their homes once they have been vetted and transported here to NJ.
