Meet Lainey. This beautiful GSP girl is estimated to be 1.5-2y.o and is seeking her forever home Lainey and her babies joined our rescue from PBC ACC after ending up there after being found dumped in the sugar cane fields. Lainey came to us scared and shut down, understandably. Her and her puppies had been dumped in the middle of nowhere and then went through a lot being sick from the shelter. She is now happy and healthy and has shown just how resilient and forgiving dogs are. She is SO beyond sweet. She is great with people, kids included and is amazing with dogs of all sizes Due to her breed, she has a natural prey drive so no cats please. *We would like to disclose that Lainey has a bite record with our county shelter. Her bite did not break skin and the details are as follows: Finder reported finding mom and pups in cane field, he went to grab the pups and Lainey gave multiple warnings that she was protecting her babies to which he admittedly ignored. - With that being said, Lainey has not presented with a single ounce of anything other than love while in our care and allowed us to handle her babies her first day in rescue, without a care in the world. She is a rockstar at adoption events and is just so eager to love and be close to people.
