Lainey's Story

Lainey is a high-energy, playful, and affectionate young dog who's always ready for her next adventure. She is a lively, curious girl who loves to explore the world around her.

Lainey is very playful and thrives in an active home. She adores playtime, especially chasing a ball or frisbee, and loves going on long walks. If you're looking for a hiking buddy, look no further! After a fun-filled day, she's happy to cuddle up and soak in affection. This girl loves her people!

Lainey lives with other dogs and does great with them. She is also around an 8 year old and 11 year old kid on a weekly basis and does very well with them. Lainey has not lived with cats, but she was also recently tested with them and seemed to be indifferent. She sniffed them and walked away.

A fenced in yard is NOT a requirement for her, but if you do have one under 6ft, it will probably be no match for Lainey. If you plan to utilize a fenced in yard for this active girl, the fence will need to be at least 6ft! This adventurous girl is quite athletic!

Lainey walks well on leash (she does pull a little bit sometimes!), and she rides nicely in the car. Lainey is crate trained and knows the command "Kennel Up" (a treat helps!). She sleeps well in her crate all night long and is kenneled when no one is home.

As a medium-sized, high-energy dog, she will benefit from consistent training to help channel her enthusiasm into good habits. With the right guidance, exercise, and love, Lainey will be a loyal, fun-loving, and adventurous companion ready to join you on life's next journey.

Name: Lainey
Breed: Rottweiler/Lab/Crossbreed
Sex: Female
Age: 1.5 years (estimated)
Weight: 42lbs
Spayed/Neutered: yes
Vaccinations: Up to date
Heartworm: Negative on recent testing
Microchipped: Yes

BASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:
Good with Children: Over 5
Good with Dogs: Yes
Good with Cats: We think so.
