Meet Lady Mae <br/><br/>Lady Mae is a 4-year-old English Mastiff/St. Bernard mix weighing 85 pounds, and she is truly one of our favorite dogs here at The Asher House Sanctuary.<br/><br/>She has the sweetest soul. Lady is affectionate, gentle, and loves being close to her people. She gets along wonderfully with both small and large dogs and has never met a stranger she didn't want to be friends with.<br/><br/>Lady is the perfect balance of adventure buddy and couch companion. She loves going on pack walks and would happily join you for hikes, neighborhood strolls, or weekend adventures. But if your perfect day involves cuddling on the couch and watching movies, she's just as happy doing that too. As long as she's with her person, she's content.<br/><br/>She walks beautifully on a leash and has a calm, easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around.<br/><br/>Now, every great dog has one little quirk-and Lady's is that she's very food motivated. If there's a trash can nearby, she'll happily investigate it, especially in the middle of the night! We use baby locks on our trash cans at the sanctuary, and that's all it takes to keep this little trash treasure hunter out of trouble.<br/><br/>Lady would thrive in a home with children ages 7 and up. She does wonderfully with other dogs but is not a good fit for a home with cats.<br/><br/>More than anything, Lady is looking for a family that will shower her with love, attention, and kindness.
