Lady & Luther

Meet Lady & Luther — A Bonded Shih Tzu Duo Looking for Their Forever Home!

Lady and Luther are two beautiful, purebred Shih Tzu siblings (brother and sister), both 8 years young, who are hoping to find a loving forever home together.

Sadly, their beloved owner passed away, and their family reached out to Rally Rescue to help give them a second chance. They are now safe and loved in a foster home, but what they really need is a family to call their own.

Lady and Luther are the perfect companions for someone who appreciates the charm, personality, and companionship of mature dogs. At 8 years old, they have plenty of love and life left to give!

These two enjoy leisurely walks in their harnesses, snuggling up with their favorite humans, and simply being part of the family. They are affectionate, loyal companions who would love nothing more than a comfortable home and people to adore them.

A little more about Lady & Luther:
Age: 8 years old
Breed: Purebred Shih Tzus
Bonded pair: Brother and sister who must be adopted together
Personality: Sweet, affectionate, and full of Shih Tzu charm
Activity level: Enjoy walks, cuddles, and quality time with their humans
Other dogs: Can peacefully coexist with other dogs, although they have spent most of their lives as the center of attention and would prefer a home where they can continue to be spoiled
Medical: Lady is already spayed, Luther will be neutered, and both will be brought up to date on vaccinations. They will be groomed soon to be the best looking they can be! Lady has glaucoma in one of her eyes and will likely need to be removed, but she does just fine without the use of her one eye any way!

Their Ideal Forever Home
We would love to find Lady and Luther a family who understands and appreciates the wonderful personalities of Shih Tzus. Ideally, their adopters will have experience with the breed, understand their ongoing grooming needs, and appreciate the joys of welcoming mature adult dogs into their lives.

Lady and Luther don’t need a busy household or endless entertainment. They simply want companionship, affection, regular walks, and a soft place to land.
After losing the only home they’ve known, these two deserve the comfort of staying together and being loved for the rest of their lives.

If you’ve ever considered adopting a bonded pair, please consider opening your heart and home to Lady and Luther. They have so much love left to give, and we would be honored to help them find their next chapter.

Adopt Lady & Luther through Rally Rescue — Austin, Texas.

Because sometimes the best love stories come with two wagging tails.

Please apply at www.rally-rescue.org
