Meet foster dog Lachlan, from Rescue Charlie's Friends! I don't usually go with little guys, but this 1 year old pup is just so cute! At our house he has done great with our son, cat, our farm animals and other dogs. When meeting new dogs he likes to try and be the boss, but at out house that didn't stick with our huge livestock guardian dogs and Lachlan fell right into place. Lacky loves to snuggle with humans, or chew a bone. He always wants to have contact with us or his doggy friend, so a lap is is happy place. He is sweet and will cuddle and groom his doggy friends. He adores children, and even though he's fast, he also can be very gentle and he loves to give kisses. Lachlan knows some commands, like sit and come, he is housetrained, and crate trained. When we get home he's so happy, and has po-go sticks for legs! He can jump straight off the ground and lick my face, but he hardly ever will jump on anyone. He listens and watches everyone and is a great watch dog. Lachlan listens well. He really wants to make you happy. Lachlan responds and will correct his behavior if he knows he's messed up- like dropping something he shouldn't be chewing on, or being a little too pushy with another animal. Outside he races around and plays, but he always pays attention to what you and the other dogs are doing. Overall our family loves this guy as he is a fun size -42 or so pounds - he's adorable, he's easy to be around, and he's well behaved.
