Lacey's Story

Meet Lacey!

The Sweetest “Grinch” in Whoville 💚
Don’t let her cute little Grinch feet fool you—Lacey’s heart is anything but two sizes too small. In fact, it’s enormous.

From the moment you meet her, Lacey is all love. She’ll greet you with her signature full-body wag, deliver one enthusiastic hug, and then roll onto her back for belly rubs. It’s her version of spreading holiday cheer year-round.

This lovely girl is fully housetrained and has impeccable manners in the home. While she’s not a fan of the kennel, she hasn’t caused any trouble loose in the house while her foster parents are away.

At around 66 pounds, she’s a smaller Great Pyrenees with a trim, girlish figure. She’s not overly food motivated, but bring out some raw carrots and you’ll see her festive spirit come alive. She is still learning how to walk nicely on leash, but she’s a smart girl who (mostly) catches on fast.

Lacey knows her basics like sit and shake a paw, and when it comes to neighbourhood “conversations,” she’s more of a polite participant than the one starting all the noise.

She absolutely adores people. Confident, affectionate, and outgoing, she makes fast friends wherever she goes—always leading with that one perfect hug before settling in for cuddles.

While she isn’t living with other animals currently, she has had exposure to cats and dogs previously and did well with them. She would probably enjoy having a friend to play with. Lacey does have a strong nose and loves to follow a good scent, so she’ll need a secure, fenced yard. She’s not a runner—but if something catches her interest, those little Grinch feet will be off on an adventure.

If you’re looking for a dog whose heart grows bigger every time she sees you, Lacey is ready to move in!

Born: Nov 11th, 2024
Gender: Female
Breed: Pyrenees
Size: Large
Activity Level: Medium
Cats: Yes
Dogs: Yes
Kids: Yes
Adoption Fee: $345

If you are interested in meeting Lacey, applications can be found here:

http://mgpr.weebly.com/dog-adoption-application.html
