Kyra's Story

Kyra is the happiest, most easy-going girl at the shelter right now. Kyra loves everyone she meets and her tail is always wagging. She looks like she is constantly smiling and it’s impossible not to smile back when you’re with her. <br/><br/>She is friendly, sweet, and loves to play with her toys. She will be a wonderful addition to the right home. She does pull on the leash, but does a little better with a harness. <br/><br/>Kyra came in with Titan. They can be adopted together, but are also completely fine living apart. <br/><br/>Kyra is 8 years old, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines.<br/><br/>Please DO NOT apply on Petfinder. Friends of Exeter Animals's Adoption Policy
The Exeter Animal Shelter does not do same day adoptions.  In order to adopt there is a fee, but for a lifetime of happiness its worth it. Adoption fee is $75 for spayed/neutered pets. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE.  Please visit the shelter and apply in person after meeting the pet you wish to adopt. If you have any questions about the animals available at the shelter, please stop in to speak with one of the Animal Control Officers, or call the shelter at 401-294-2754. Email us at: animalshelter@exeterri.gov If you are interested in finding out more about volunteering with the Friend of the Exeter Animals or making a donation, please contact us at: Friendsofexeteranimals@yahoo.com The Exeter Animal Shelter is located on Rt. 2 in Exeter between the Veterans Cemetery and Schartners Farm. From the North - Take Rt. 95 South to Rt. 4. Take exit 5B (Rt102) and take a left at the light onto Rt 2. We're just a couple miles down.
