Kyno's Story

They call me Kyno. I don’t act like a stranger for long.
I'm currently in California. My bags are packed, I’m ready to travel to my new home. Where are you? Are you my new family? I’ll travel to you!

I’m a 5-year-old Siberian Husky with a soft cream coat, about 45 pounds. I’m spayed, vaccinated, and I’m already showing how much I enjoy being part of a home.

I like people. Once I get to know you, I’ll come over, sit close, and lean into you like I belong there. I’m friendly, social, and I do great with other dogs. Walks are fun for me. I move around, take everything in, and I’m getting better at staying with you instead of doing my own thing.

I’m still learning some basics. I’m getting into a consistent routine. I do best with structure and clear guidance, and I’m picking it up more each day. I’ve been doing better in my crate too. I stay quiet most of the night and settle when you’re away, though I’d rather be out and near you when you’re home.

I’ve got that Husky brain. I notice everything. I like to explore. I’ll need someone who keeps an eye on doors and fences and helps me learn boundaries. I’m also working on things like jumping, waiting my turn, and not helping myself to whatever looks interesting.

Here’s the good part.

I’m eager. I want to learn. I want to be with my people. I respond to consistency and I’m going to do really well with someone who gives me direction and includes me in their life.

If you’re looking for a dog who is friendly, active, and ready to learn, I’m already on my way.
