Needs foster / foster to adopt!<br/>Kylo Ren is the definition of a gentle, soulful companion-he just needs the right environment to truly relax and be himself.<br/>At nearly 7 years old (birthday: April 20 ), Kylo is a laid-back, "big lazy boy" who has outgrown the chaos of younger years and is ready for a calm, predictable home.<br/>His favorite things? Lounging near his people, chewing on a good bone, and soaking up all the snuggles he can get from the adults he trusts.<br/>The important part (and why he needs a foster):<br/>Kylo needs a home without children. While he has been a loving and loyal dog, it's become clear that being around young kids makes him uncomfortable and on edge due to their unpredictable movements.<br/>His current family loves him deeply-but they're making the incredibly hard, responsible decision to prioritize both their child's safety and Kylo's wellbeing.<br/>This is not a "bad dog."<br/>This is a dog who is asking for a quieter life.<br/>Kylo's highlights:<br/> Calm, low-energy, and content just hanging out<br/> Loves adult companionship and snuggles<br/> Enjoys chewing on bones more than toys<br/> Has done great with boundaries (used to a wireless fence and respects it!)<br/> Has successfully lost ~20 lbs and is feeling his best<br/> Can coexist with another dog, especially with proper introductions<br/>Things to know:<br/>No young children<br/>Unknown with cats<br/>May get a little sore with rough play-he's entering his senior years and prefers a slower pace<br/>Kylo doesn't need much.<br/>Just a safe, quiet home... and someone to sit next to.<br/>He's spent years trying to fit into a life that doesn't quite fit him anymore.
