Krew's Story

Meet Krew, a 5½-year-old Dogo Argentino mix who needs a new home as soon as possible.

Krew is a big lovable doof who absolutely thrives on attention. He loves being around people, enjoys adventures, and has done well with kids. However, he cannot live with cats or small dogs and would do best as the only dog, or possibly with another dog his size with slow, proper introductions.

He is being rehomed because he recently got into a fight with a 35 lb dog while small children were in the room. No one was seriously hurt, but it was a situation that could have gone very wrong, and it’s not a risk that can continue in a home with small kids.

Krew does require an indestructible kennel when left alone, which will come with him. He is a sweet dog who just needs the right environment and an experienced owner who understands large, powerful breeds.

He is neutered and vaccinated through April.

📍 Located in KCK

Mid-America Bully Breed Rescue is helping screen applicants, but is currently unable to take him into the program.

KC Pet Project advised that if he enters the shelter system he would likely be euthanized, and we are trying to prevent that outcome.

If a family, foster, rescue, or experienced adopter can step up and give this big guy a safe place to land, please reach out.
