He's super friendly and people oriented, but has not been as good with the other dogs in his foster home. He might do best as an only dog. Kramer's breed mix is an unsolved mystery. He weighs 30 lbs. He's larger and taller than a standard doxie but he has a long body and a wire haired coat like a dachshund. His face, coloring and his squeezable oversized paws give off a mini golden retriever vibe. Super cute with a killer blonde mohawk. Kramer's eager to please and highly trainable (house and crate trained already) - which might also point to a more obedient breed somewhere in his DNA? Dachshunds aren't particularly known for those traits. ;o) Kramer enjoys being groomed...the funny boy fell asleep and was snoring the first time his foster mom brushed and furminated him. He's great with kids and a pleasure to walk on a leash, never pulling...allowing the leash to be loose. Kramer's an excellent cuddler and a real character to have around. He's a special, one of a kind dog. Larger than a dachshund with a heart just as big. If you're looking for a Goldilocks dog: not too big and not too small, Kramer's your man!
